The Home
A freshly painted (2025) tropical oasis in the Waterford Scripps Ranch community. Enjoy a large pool with a kids' waterslide, hot tub, built-in BBQ, fire pit, and lush outdoor living — all on a quiet cul-de-sac. Four bedrooms (king, two queens, and a bunk room) sleep up to eight guests comfortably. No parties or events permitted.
Guest Access
You have access to the entire home with the exception of a standalone 1-car garage. A spacious 2-car attached garage is available for guest use.
The Neighborhood
Ideally situated about 30 minutes from downtown San Diego, local beaches, Legoland California, and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Steps from the front door, a trail leads around scenic Lake Miramar — perfect for jogging, hiking, and biking. Scripps Ranch offers a peaceful suburban feel with easy freeway access to everything the city has to offer.
Good to Know
The pool and spa area is not gated — adult supervision is required for children at all times. Pool and spa heating is available. The soaking tub in the primary bathroom is non-functional; tubs are available in two other bathrooms. Entry is keyless via August Smart Lock with a personal code; physical keys are also available on request. We are committed to Rent Responsibly standards and your comfort is our top priority.

We had a wonderful time with our family. The amenities were very thoughtful and it had everything we needed. The kids loved the playroom and the pool. The didn’t even want to leave for the beach. The location is suburbia heaven with every store and restaurant imaginable within 10 min drive on both sides. A very easy getaway. We can’t wait for our next trip!

Gary was a very responsive and helpful host. The home was exactly as expected and the pool certainly didn't disappoint. Our family loved that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms which was great for privacy. Very kid friendly location with books/toys in a playroom, pool toys and even beach chairs and toys for an outing to the beach! I would highly recommend this location for your next vacation.

if you want an opportunity to get away and build memories with the family, I highly suggest Gary's place. Great neighborhood, peaceful and calm. backyard, pool area and barbecue worked out fantastic for my family. Will definitely book this property again.

Excellent rental home with a great set up for a family. Plenty of room; wonderful pool & back yard set up; convenient location with great restaurant options nearby. Our children truly enjoyed the pool with pool slide and playroom. We enjoyed our stay!

There is always concern when renting Airbnb and whether it's what the owner says. Follow all the reviews, it's a great place to stay. Super roomy and great location to the freeway. We'll book again if we end up in San Diego.
