We had a great time staying at Gary's place in San Diego. Check-in was easy. Communication with owners was smooth. House was clean and had amenities for all of us to enjoy, including beach stuff to enjoy a day out at the beach. It's located in a peaceful neighborhood and provided privacy. Kids had a great time in the pool. We were pretty comfortable and felt like home away from home. We would look forward to visiting again.

Excellent stay for our group of six, including our two kids who spent much of our vacation enjoying the pool and hot tub. The play room was also a big hit! Gary was super responsive and very helpful. The entire house was very clean. Comfy beds. Well stocked with plenty of towels and even some beach gear. Roughly half an hour from everywhere we wanted to go - beaches, Legoland, etc. We didn't want to leave!

This home is the nicest home my family has ever stayed in. It was an easy 20min drive into San Diego everyday and we even made the drive to Anaheim twice during the week. Great location, amazing pool, hot tub, and slide. My family had a fantastic week!

We had a wonderful time with our family. The amenities were very thoughtful and it had everything we needed. The kids loved the playroom and the pool. They didn’t even want to leave for the beach. The location is suburbia heaven with every store and restaurant imaginable within 10 min drive on both sides. A very easy getaway. We can’t wait for our next trip!

There is always concern when renting Airbnb and whether it’s what the owner says. Follow all the reviews, it’s a great place to stay. Super roomy and great location to the freeway. We’ll book again if we end up in San Diego.

We were in town and wanted to check out Scripps area. Last time we came we went to the zoo and ate all the time, but this time wanted to just chill with the kids and relax. This was one of the nicest places on Airbnb, but worth the price. Our kids loved the pool, the TVs, hot tub, and trails. We ate in, and the kitchen was great. When we did go out, the beach was only 20-30 minutes away. There were a ton of great restaurants in the area as well. Gary was the owner, and he was responsive and nice. He checked in via text, and answered any questions. It really was a great stay. For us, the place was worth it. Had a great stay, and got some real quality family time together. Highly recommend!

20-30 minutes to most tourist locations this little suburban gem had all the amenities to make for a special family vacation. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and the pool with slide and outdoor space was a huge hit for our family. Great communication with owners.

This property was ideal for our stay. Location was perfect and the house had all the amenities of home. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen/pool area and my kids loved the hot tub and water slide. Home was great, hosts were quick to respond and resolve one minor issue with smoke detector batteries. From the many VRBO’s we’ve stayed in this home makes the top of our list to San Diego we’ll search for this property to hopefully stay again!

We found our home away from home! Beautiful house in a quiet and super safe neighborhood, not too far from grocery stores and amusement parks. Awesome pool with slide and spa, water floaties and toys, which we managed to use a few times during our stay. Patio dining set and patio lights added a nice touch for breakfast/dinner. We have a child with allergies so having a fully functional kitchen was awesome. And the washer/drier were great.

The property was perfect for our family stay. We were able to spread out, enjoy the large pool, and visit the sites. Highly recommended!

The house was perfect -- comfortable beds, a very functional kitchen, a great outdoor space with a gas grill, a pool with a slide (so much fun), and a hot tub built in. The house was in a very nice subdivision. It had everything we needed for a fun vacation in San Diego. There was even a toy room for the kids to use. It was about 20-25 minutes away from the zoo, Sea World and the beach. We had a great time using the pool. My kids LOVED the water slide! We would definitely rent again :)

We brought all three generations of the family, and there was something for everyone waiting for us in beautiful La Jolla, CA! While the interior of the home catches your eye, the wonderfully constructed backyard will steal your heart. ...from baby’s first swim to Grandma sliding into the pool, we made memories that’ll last a lifetime! The property is located in a development very close to a main road and with easy highway access. The roads have excellent sidewalks and Lake Miramar is accessible either via car, via sidewalks, or trails. We arrived during the transition time in Spring, with a chill still in the air so did not want to enjoy the pool daily, however, when it did warm up a bit the pool area was loved by the children.

This home was perfect for our stay with the kids and grandchildren. Good location with easy access to the fun things in San Diego. Shopping and restaurants close by, great location. Home is very well equipped and everything worked without a problem. Gary was a terrific host with spot on recommendations for dining and fun things to do for the weekend. Very clean home with a sparkling fun pool and spa. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at this property with family in October 2022 including grandparents and toddler. Pictures don’t do the size of the house justice - there was plenty of room inside and out for all of us to hang out together and also spread out in our own space. Highly recommend staying here with your little ones - there were toys galore and some gear as well (pack n play, high chair, etc.) also appreciated the basic baby proofing (padding around fire place, hooks for blind pulls, baby gates, etc.).

The house was great and the owners as well. Only drawback was the AC was down but they put in portable ones before we arrived and let us know what they were doing throughout the process so we were able to decide whether to go through with the stay. We are very glad we made the decision to go and would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Beautiful property! We had a mini-family reunion here with four adults and three small children (ages 6 years to 6 months). The home was beautiful, with ample space to accommodate everyone. Our main criteria when selecting a rental was finding something great for the kids-- and this house totally delivered. The kids loved the playroom full of toys and the room with the bunk beds. Plus the swing out front and the backyard pool with waterslide were also big hits. Spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds throughout.

Location, location and the actual house! Excellent. I was sort of excited, happy when we found the listing but somehow when we finally arrived and had stayed in the house for a few days we can happily say that it exceeded every expectation. 20-30minutes to anywhere, south-west-north... perfect location! Pool was excellent, both for kids (10yo) and adults. Table for dining outside was in a great location. The house was well sound insulated, kitchen was very well equipped, it was a joy to cook.... AND communication with the owners was excellent. Very responsive, laid back, to-the-point, polite, nice and cool. A review wouldn’t be complete without something to 'wish for', for our two families (8ppl) we would have preferred one queen bed to be something bigger but all in all, it didn’t detract anything from the whole experience. When we visit SoCal in 12-24months again, this is the place for us to stay.

Great place for a family vacation. Backyard is 10 stars. House is close to Sea World, Zoo, Safari, stores. etc etc. Gary is a great host. I would come back for sure and anyone booking this place wouldn’t be disappointed.

This property was perfect for a family vacation. We had two elementary school-aged boys and one preschooler combined with parents and grandparents. Every bedroom has a full bath attached which was extremely convenient. The best part had to be the fantastic pool, hot tub, waterfall, and waterslide. The location was great. It was only a 20-25 min drive to get to the coast. Property owners were responsive when any issues arose.

Rented this property to celebrate the engagement of my son. If there is a hot tub and pool my family always has a great time and we did! The neighborhood is very quiet so please pay attention to listing where this subject is addressed. Property owner super easy to talk to and quickly responds to all questions . He was very gracious with both check in and checkout.

We rented this property for our family’s spring break trip. The house was very clean, and comfortable. Our kids loved the pool and had a great time. It was easy to communicate with the owner about any questions we had once we arrived.

The house worked perfectly for a gathering of 4 generations. The littlest one loved the playroom, the 1st floor room with walk-in shower worked for the eldest, and the heated pool was great for all. The major San Diego attractions are all 20-30 minutes away so manageable although we spent a lot of time hanging out at the house with space for everyone to do their own thing. Gary was a very responsive host. We had a lovely week.

This house is an absolute gem, and one of our favorite places we have stayed. The layout of the home is perfect for a large family/extended family or group of friends. Each bedroom is comfortable and has its own attached bathroom! The kitchen is well equipped and huge! The common areas allow for ease of socializing and some nice quiet spaces as well for folks to read and cozy up by the fire. The outdoor space is absolutely perfect. There is ample space for relaxing, dining, etc, and the pool is phenomenal. The slide is a blast and the hosts include plenty of toys and gear for kids. The location and neighborhood is perfect - quiet, safe, very walkable, and easy to get to all San Diego attractions (with most being within 20 minutes) while plenty of great food and grocery stores nearby (within 2-5 miles). We spent our time swimming, reading, relaxing, eating great food, and playing lots of pickleball and tennis at the park and playground nearby. It was an absolute perfect location and home for our extended family of 8 from Maine with ages ranging from 5-65 (grandparents, and two families of 3). In addition to all this home has to offer, Gary and Thien are excellent hosts - extremely thoughtful and responsive. All guest needs are carefully considered and thoughtfully met, and if/when we did have questions, the response was immediate and highly accommodating. We are grateful to have had the chance to stay here and look forward to returning in the future.

Gary’s home is awesome. We stayed here during a heat wave - the pool and waterslide saved us. The outside area is so much fun. The house itself has a ton of space, great kitchen and fantastic layout. Every bdrm had its own bathroom. The house was clean. We had an ant problem due to the heatwave - Gary’s communication about it was stellar. We biked around Lake Miramar (5 min drive) every day and even rented a boat for a bit. Grocery stores right near by as well as a few awesome local restaurants. We truly felt like it was an escape and loved our time there.

Gary and Thien are great hosts. They provided a welcome amenity which was a nice touch, were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Our little girls enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It seemed the pool takes a while to heat up, but it may be actually how it works, the hot tub was heated in good time. It is a very quiet neighborhood, the 8pm quiet hours are a little strict, but even with our little girls having fun, we had no issues. It was a beautiful house, we would definitely recommend!

We loved this house! It is spacious and the backyard is amazing. We traveled with 4 adults and 3 kids under the age of 6 and we lived in the pool and hot tub. The street is extremely quiet and the location is superb. 3-5 minutes from grocery stores, shops, restaurants and the freeway. It was easy to get downtown and all the city attractions were only about 15-20 minutes away.

There is nothing not to love about this property or these hosts. The hosts are super responsive and willing to help with any questions or concerns that may come up. The property is even better and bigger than pictured. The details make such a huge difference. The property is very pleasantly decorated and has several very nice tech aspects that really elevate your experience here. We visited with guests of a wide age range- from 20 months to nearly 70 years old and everyone had a great time. We thoroughly searched all available properties in San Diego and simply don’t think you can find a nicer place to stay.

I have now officially found my favorite place to stay in Park City. Gary's home is impeccable. To start, the photos don't come close to doing it justice - the massive atrium, beautiful furniture - it's even more striking in person. The place is exceptionally well appointed. Brand new Hexclad cookware, clean hot tub, large fireplace, spacious, clean garage, the list goes on and on. His local manager Junior is amazing and the housekeeping staff is also top-notch. We spent nearly a month here and I wish it was twice as long. Thank you Gary! Can't wait to come back.

We stayed here for a 10 day family vacation. 6 adults and 4 children fit very comfortably. The house is beautiful and modern with high end furnishings, but also clean and very well stocked with a kitchen full of pots, pans, & spices and bathrooms with extra towels so that you didn't have to do laundry daily. Lots of toilet paper and tissues. The house is very light and airy, but also has shades so that can adjust the light to your desired brightness. It is an easy 5 minute walk to a number of both upscale and casual restaurants and some shops at the Canyons village. Several of us enjoyed the hot tub which was pristine and cleaned weekly. We also enjoyed the small deck by the hot tub which is relatively private as there is no development on the back side of the home. The host, Gary, was very communicative, responsive, and cordial in all of our dealings. When you have a great property, great location, and a great host, you can't go wrong staying here! I highly recommend this house!

We had a fantastic stay at this home in Park City with three families. The house was very modern, clean, and comfortable for our group. The kitchen was especially was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. The home was also very kid-friendly, which made a huge difference for our group. There were lots of games and thoughtful amenities for kids, which kept them entertained and made the stay much easier for the parents. The location was excellent as well. Gary’s condo is in great location in canyon village. The condo was perfect size for our group of 8 people. The kitchen is well equipped and the decor is very nice. Plenty of nice size bedrooms and bathrooms as described on Airbnb , Very large hot tub as well. Just a short distance to the village with a good selection of restaurants and ski rental options. The Sunrise Gondola is new this year and again just a short walk from the condo. Would definitely stay here again. No complaints

Our two families (10 total) had a wonderful vacation at this smart, modern, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed townhome. The layout was perfect for two couples and their young adult children. There was plenty of space for coats, gear, pantry items, etc. The location was fantastic. We mostly walked across the parking lot to get to the gondola or Canyons village, but occasionally took the free Canyons Village van (eg when it was raining). It’s also easy to walk over to the village and take the Cabriolet lift down to the bus stop to get to Park City Mountain Resort or Main Street. Our kids really enjoyed the hot tub every day when they returned from the mountain. The hosts were super responsive. We would love to stay here again.

Great stay at this conveniently located, spacious townhome near the heart of Canyons village.This home definitely has that "new" feeling - vey little wear and tear. Even the kitchen knives are sharp! Linens, furnishings, towels - everything was in tip top condition. Very spacious for your group of 8 - 10. Great common spaces with a very comfortable bed/bath set up. Easy (5 minute) walk to heart of Canyons village (Red Pine Gondola and Orange Bubble lift). Ski-in depending on snowfall (we were able to ski all the way to the townhouse).Great value for its location and quality.

Rooms are spacious, plenty of bathrooms, upstairs beds are comfy. Bunk beds were not as comfortable but were fine for younger children. We loved the fireplaces and the kitchen is easy to cook and eat in. The house feels bigger than the listing images look. The host left snacks and water, as well as plenty of laundry detergent, paper towels, and lots of clean towels. To get to the lift, it’s about a 4-minute walk (across a parking lot and up the ramp to the Canyons Village main area). Definitely recommend!

My priority for a month-long stay in New York was that every place I wanted to go was walkable. I also needed a 3-bedroom apartment for visitors. This listing by Gary and Thien is walkable (to the park, to museums, to restaurants and…we even walked to Richard Rogers theater for Hamilton). But where you spend the end of the day is also a bonus that we didn't realize. The Central Park facing outside deck is the full length of the apartment with views of Columbus Circle and the Park. The amenities include a gym, theater, conference rooms and even a children's playroom. Add attentive doormen and front desk (24-hour) and quiet neighbors and it is unsurprising that this was our best stay in New York!

We enjoyed a very comfortable two month stay in this lovely apartment in a quiet and well serviced condominium. The location is excellent for Midtown and its proximity to the subway makes exploring Manhattan very easy. We enjoyed being a few minutes’ walk from Central Park when we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The beds are extremely comfortable, the bathrooms are spotless and the kitchen is equipped to make breakfasts or simple meals. The Nest thermostats meant it was easy to control the temperature and the apartment has wonderful views and catches the sun for most of the day, making it a lovely bright space. Our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful both before and throughout our time there. We hope to return next year, it’s a great apartment and we thoroughly recommend it.
